Stay Focused to Earn Extra Money on the Internet

First I bought a built in affiliate website and started my journey to earn extra money on the Internet. Every other person was advising: you should visit online business forums regularly, hang in there, try to figure out ins and outs of Internet marketing, make good use of your signatures to get back links to your sites, ask questions to understand issues and make regular value added posts. Not that I understood all the advices at the beginning but one thing I did. I signed up free with an on line home business forum-a very popular one -that is, warrior forum, to learn how to earn extra money on the Internet.

The first few days were horrible. It was like suddenly entering in China where every other person was speaking in Chinese. It was a difficult time, nervous time and sometimes boring to some extend. I was reluctant to post a question in the fear that others may think me stupid. However, good thing was the members of such a forum generally very co-operative. I was not aware then that help and cooperation to others are the most effective tool to earn extra money on the Internet.

However, I hang around the forum, learning bit by bit, bookmarking some action threads that I did not understand, but I tried to save those for future, when my knowledge level will be up to standard, I can go through those threads again and take those actions. I purchased a built-in affiliate website and started a blog at blogger. Somebody in the forum pointed out that there are many advantages over WordPress over Blogspot. So I decided to start a WordPress blog, a generic one at my site. Bit by bit I gathered the knowledge how to install a word press blog, how to transfer my Blogspot to generic WordPress blog. Whatever I learned to earn extra money on the Internet. I learned from the forum. However, it took many hours and many days of effort.

There are some disadvantages in hanging around in the forums. I felt it. I was becoming a forum addict. Spending lot of time on reading and answering threads was leaving me less time to take the actions, I should have taken to earn extra money on the Internet. I was facing difficulties to find a balance.

Other disadvantages of hanging in the warrior forum is it's "Warrior Special Offer" WSO's. WSO is of wide varieties at the forum. However, each one appears lucrative that it was very difficult to stay focused on one system or issue, which is a sole way to earn extra money on the Internet. I was ended buying one after another WSO, distracting and diverting my effort in many different directions. I was losing money and reaching nowhere.

After roaming aimless for few months I became mature enough to disregard
the very lucrative WSO's and stay focused what I had to do- the basics.
Doing all the basics rightly and consistently, I am finally able to
earn extra money on the Internet.
